My Parents
Both of Gilda's parents worked as middle school teachers in the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District. They met while attending Cal State LA in the 1960s. Their legacies have inspired generations of students, including those in the Ochoa family.

In her spare time, Gilda enjoys playing with her dog, Churro, traveling,
and has coached high school level cross country.
